YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS IMPORTANT
You may be thinking, "I'll wait until I see if I like the contract the union negotiates for me. Then I'll join." But, your waiting actually weakens our ability to negotiate with strength on important part-time faculty concerns at Victor Valley College. Clout at the bargaining table is in direct proportion to our membership numbers. We need your support and participation now.

When you join now you are immediately covered with $1 million professional liability insurance and $25,000 accidental death and disability insurance, plus $12,000 term life insurance FREE TO YOU for the first year if you fill out the bottom section of the Membership Application form.

Membership dues are $30 per pay period ($120 per semester) through automatic payroll deduction, and are ONLY due when you are employed at Victor Valley College.

HOW TO COMPLETE THE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
There are three sections on your AFT Membership Form. The first section completes your basic membership application. The second section is optional and is your voluntary contribution to our local's political action fund. Our PAC is controlled solely by us locally and is used to fund actions such as electing faculty-friendly VVC Board of Trustees candidates. When you complete the third section you will receive $12,000 term life insurance FREE for you first year of AFT membership.
